Based on the experience of LSI with high-end instruments for characterization of nanoparticles and combined with the expertise of the SMP Group in this field, a nanoparticle-sizing instrument shall be introduced to the market based on the latest scientific progress. The project aims for the design of an device that comes at a price that can compete in the huge market for standard laboratory instruments. A simple, robust and user-friendly software suited for this specific market will be developed that integrates the complex light scattering algorithms previously developed by LSI.
