Protected Swiss Smart Cards (PROS2) These Smart Cards will be Highly Secured for Common Criteria Certification (EAL4+)
Abstract
(English)
Security is the major challenge in design of smart cards used for payments, car keys, etc¿ The project aims at developing a new EM smartcard chip platform that will make possible the development of secure chips based on 8051 uC core. The goal is to implement all countermeasures for avoiding hackers getting the secret key. Based on this approach, a new digital logic family called ¿subthreshold source-coupled logic¿ will be employed to cancel the observability of the encryption codes through supply consumption analysis.
