Development of novel non-biocidal textile coatings reducing bacterial adhesion.
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
- Development of a product that reduces biofilm formation, specifically bacterial adhesion, and where the product is composed of chemically modified textile surfaces. - Development of a product (chemically modified textile surfaces) that increases washing efficiency via reduction of biofilm adhesion and allows an improved biofilm removal from textiles. - Development of an easy assay for high throughput biofilm formation to quantify the bacterial attachment on textile surfaces. - Development of washing tests to evaluate reduction of bacterial adhesion and to evaluate the biofilm removal efficiency.
