Nanocrystalline Ti-alloys - a potential candidate for dental implant materials
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
Goal of this study is to evaluate the potential of nanocrystalline Titanium (Ti) as dental implant material. It concentrates on the interplay between the microstructure of the material and its mechanical properties, the reliability of the materials quality over different batches and lot sizes, the materials optimization via processing recommendations and the biocompatibility and osseointegration rate. A successful conduction of the study represents an important milestone towards commercialization of nanocrystalline Ti as medical implant material.
