iJoint: X-ray radiography based true 3D planning and evaluation system for total hip arthroplasty (THA)
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
In this project an innovative framework for advancing modern total hip arthroplasty called iJoint will be|developed. Based on a unique 2D/3D reconstruction technique iJoint targets for true 3D planning and|evaluation from just 2D X-ray radiographs. A web-based implementation serves as a basis for the|successful dissemination of the framework. Seamless integration of iJoint into the supply chain|management will give an additional competitive market advantage. The framework holds potential for|similar advancements in knee and shoulder arthroplasty thus positioning the industrial partner as an|innovation leader in this field.
