The project is aimed at the development of a passive vaccine for progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) based on high affinity human anti-JC polyoma virus (JCV)-specific antibodies. Combining Neurimmune¿s expertise in human antibody discovery, validation and development and University's expertise in basic and clinical JCV & multiple sclerosis research, the program is anticipated to provide proof-of concept for the development and commercialization of an urgently needed prophylaxis and therapy for PML.
