High performance open loop accelerometer

Abstract (German)

The project aims at an open loop accelerometer generation with higher performance (30 db noise and factor 4 stability) and lower cost as compared to the current products. The key parts are a new ASIC, a new MEMS and both assembled in a ceramic package with edge mount capability. In order to speed up the market introduction and demonstrate the 20 bit capability, an evaluation Kit in the form of a PCB board with accelerometers mounted in a 3 axis configuration, power supply, A/D converter a data interface and PC based data acquisition software will be developed.
