Exact identification and description of process dynamics and optimization of the performance of compact permanent magnet synchronous motors. Implementation of an adaptive control, which minimizes the parameters to be adjusted by the user and the commissioning time. Improvement of the stability and speed control for scanning applications in order to attain new application fields. Implementation of a zero speed estimate of the initial rotor position angle, to avoid uncontrolled movements at the initialization.
