This project aims at developing and bringing to the market in less than one year a complete USB-based logical access control device. It will implement multimodal palm-vein and hand shape geometry biometrics coupled with contact less smartcard verification. The whole corresponding software environment including drivers, service and security management will also be developed. The high security of the system with its targeted low-cost will open new promising markets.
