Design, construction, and validation of a unique multifunctional high temperature wear quantifying Tribometer. It will deliver in-situ absolute wear rates together with friction coefficients of systems under harsh conditions. Challenging industrial wear resistant high temperature coatings are selected for the validation, in parallel optimizing such coatings.
