HEROIS: Development of a Highly Efficient, Rapid, On-line Monitored Vapour Phase Hydrogen Peroxide Cycle for Isolator Decontamination in the Pharmaceutical and Health Care Industry
Abstract
(Deutsch)
Customers demand for fast and accurate Vapour Phase Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination processes, whose efficiency and reliability are strongly depending on the decontamination time and sensitive measuring devices. The high performance and short decontamination cycle, combined with online monitoring will be achieved by: 1a) Increase of ¿killer-radical¿s¿ by potentiation. 1b) Selective hydrogen peroxide catalytic decomposition at the end of decontamination process; 2. Development of a new sensor for in-situ 'total kill' efficiency measurement.
