Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
In order to develop a new ski that combines high carving performance with increased comfort, control and safety, a deeper insight into the interaction of ski, athlete and snow is necessary. Regarding performance, comfort and safety, torsional and bending strain along the ski is assumed to play a key role. This feasibility study should analyze the possibility of measuring accurately on-slope ski deformation without affecting the mechanical properties of the ski by integrated fiber optic sensors.
