Abstract
(German)
For the investment casting process, ceramic cores on the base of silica and zircon materials are used. Phase transformation and composition are important to achieve sufficient properties (thermomechanical behavior) at casting temperatures of 1550°C. The aim here is the study of these parameters as well as the particle size distribution of ceramic powder mixtures for DS and SX applications. Another aspect is the elimination of phase separation during PIM process to realize sophisticated architecture structures. To achieve this influence of surfactants e.g. fatty acids will be investigated.
