SENSIMED AG developed a break-through, non-invasive solution for continuous monitoring of intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients, consisting in a soft disposable contact lens with an embedded sensor worn up to 24 hours. The purpose of this project is to model and calibrate the behaviour of the lens in-vivo, and to develop a platform which will enable to collect the required in-vivo data and to turn this data into a knowledge management system for glaucoma treatment.
