Abstract (Englisch)	Personal recommendations (referrals) are proven to be one of the most effective forms of advertising. Hirschfactor, a web platform leveraging online social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook), applies the referral approach to personal recruitment. In this framework, our research project investigates the motivation of sending referrals, creates a recommendation engine for suitable job/friend pairs, and a measurement method for the relevance of referrals.
