Short description (English)

The ISS will engage a Research Fellow who will conduct research on the political, economic, military and social situation in the Balkans and the prospects for enhancing stability in this region. In order to keep in touch with the situation on the ground he will, to the extent useful and appropriate, make trips to the region and attend sprecialised conferences and seminars elsewhere. Furthermore, he will support, as an expert on the region, the "PfP Consortium of Defence Academices and Security Studies Institutes" founded in the framwork of the EAPC, and contribute, specifically, to the development, within this context of a curriculum on security studies for the universities of Bosnia and Herzegowina.
