The program management of the research package acts as a central point of contact among all single projects. The activites of the program management can be structured in four phases:
- In the first phase, the terms of reference must be prepared and the tendering process must be organised in coordination with the accompanying commission (BK).
- During the research process of each of the single projects, the program manager keeps an overview of all projects. He's part of the project meetings, leads the coordination meetings and pushes the projects towards coordination.
- At the end of the research package, the program manager will be in charge of preparing a final summary report. The package's results will be shared with a broader public during a workshop to be led by the program manager.
- The fourth phase contains the project management activities with planning and control of objectives, activities, costs and milestones. Project status reports will be established every 6 month.
The most relevant documents will be published and shared among the participants by using a communication plattform accessible over the internet.
