Abstract
(German)
The project aims to demonstrate feasibility of woven transparent conductor substrates as electrodes for OLEDs for large area lighting and advertisement applications. These require bright illumination at low prices. Compared to current substrates based on ITO and metal bus bars, woven transparent conductors have significant higher conductivity at lower production cost. As a necessary first step and prerequisite for a larger industrial technology development, first lab scale samples of OLEDs using woven transparent conductor substrates will be developed and possible routes to production will be investigated within the project.
