Abstract (Deutsch)

The project TRA-CH is related to Manunet-TRASP 2.0, investigating enabling technologies for traceability in the leather supply chain aiming at developing a prototype traceability platform suited for real-world enterprises. To this end, TRA-CH investigates RFID-based solutions for discovering of counterfeiting and illegitimate use; integration of suitable cryptographic primitives; optimum partitioning of security-oriented tasks between reader and tag; and fault-tolerance countermeasures for tag faults induced by the leather manufacturing process.
