All Laser Scribing of CIGS Photovoltaic Panels on rigid Substrates: Feasibility Study
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
Cost reduction remains a key success factor for photovoltaic's solar panels. Continuous developments need to address ways on how solar modules can be produced at lower costs. New opportunities arise in the field of thin film photovoltaics such as CIGS and CdTe films. However, at least as important as their production is their layer by layer machining ('scribing'). All laser based scribing would represent an enormous step forward from the cost and technological points of view, is however difficult for CIGS. In this study we want to demonstrate the feasibility of all laser CIGS scribing as a first step for an efficient all laser scribing machine.
