Abstract

The research proposal seeks to obtain funds for the Swiss part of the labeled European ITEA-2 'OpenProd' project advancing the state of the art of computer-aided model-based product design. All individual projects use the OpenModelica standard for modeling. The Swiss contribution shall establish an interface between OpenModelica and PowerDEVS, an asynchronous (real-time) simulation environment based on state quantization. PowerDEVS enables more efficient (real-time) simulation and control of physical systems. Our work emphasizes power electronics.
