Commercial optical diffusers are limited in their overall efficiency and ease of use. The goal of this project is to study, fabricate and commercialize highly efficient 2D optical diffusers for static and dynamic applications. The static diffusers will be eye-safe and should exceed existing efficiencies. The dynamic diffusers will provide an easy-to-use and robust device for high power light sources. Both diffusers should generate an intensity distribution free of zero orders and other spikes.
