Abstract (Deutsch)

Development of a clinically superior alternative to today's available coronary artery stents: Qvanteq's Qstent is based on a surface modification of 'bare metal stents' and is expected to accelerate in-growth, which is generally believed to minimize the early and also late adverse cardiac events (i.e. heart attacks) that are associated with today's available 'bare metal stents' as well as 'drug-eluting stents'.
