Nano-structured organic Bragg reflectors for optical applications - feasibility study
Abstract
(French)
Bragg reflectors are widely used for wavelength-selective devices (filters, reflectors...), as they are straightforward to design and make with tailored spectral properties. However, their 'tuning' remains limited by the small number and range of known control parameters. This project investigates how to expand the range of properties obtainable, by combining polymeric Bragg reflectors with surface structuring. The implications are important to large-scale fabrication of new optical elements.
