Oral thin films (OTF) for virosomal vaccines
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
Vaccination is the most efficient approach to prevent infectious diseases. The traditional way to administer vaccines is intramuscular injection, despite of obvious disadvantages. The proposed project aims to develop a needle-free, economically viable vaccine application device which induces protective immunity against Influenza. Key to this goal the establishment of a galenical formulation process to incorporate the established virosome vaccine carrier into an oral thin film (OTF).
