Abstract (English)	Natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is a very advanced approach to perform surgery via natural orifices. The main problem not yet solved is to reliably and liquid-tightly close the gastric incision. This project is devoted to develop a sutureless laser soldering technique using a specially developed scaffold containing nano particles and an efficient endoscopic instrumentation to deliver and precisely place the scaffold including an intelligent optical irradiation fiber and a smart feed-back system able to determine the surgical endpoint.

Abstract

Natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is a very advanced approach to perform surgery via natural orifices.
