Résumé des résultats (Abstract)

This project addresses the commercial necessity for new recombinant antibodies to support a fast-growing product line related to anti-ganglioside and anti-MAG (myelin-associated glycoprotein) neuroimmunology autoantibody testing, diseases which potentially lead to general neurodegradation. In specific the generation of human recombinant antibodies and chimeric human-mouse IgG and IgM recombinant antibodies. Through gene-to-protein technologies in CHO-S and HEK293-S cell bioreactors and TGE (transient gene expression) we will achieve the R&D results carried out by the two university research partners, and combine the astute commercial expertise available from the industrial partner in auto-immune in vitro diagnostic kit development, to better serve the health care practitioner in this important field of disease diagnosis. These would represent the first uses of recombinant antibodies in any commercially available autoimmunity test.
