Abstract

X-rays are a very important tool for scientific, industrial and medical investigations. PSI has developed a novel type of pixelated detectors for the efficient and precise detection of soft X-rays. In order to extend the sensitivity of these detectors to hard X-rays, new sensor materials have to be investigated. The aim of the project is to fabricate prototype assemblies for the detection of hard X-rays.
