Abstract
(English)
An integrated, multiphysics simulation platform will be developed for development, application, safety investigation and for post-market surveillance of devices and therapies in life sciences and bio-medicine. Sim4Life will be the first tool permitting multiphysics simulations within the full complexity of the human anatomy. It will initially consist of numerical solvers for electromagnetics, heat transfer, flow and nerve stimulations, and it will permit seamless integration of future tissue models (tumor models) and other physical solvers (acoustics, mechanics).
