Abstract (Deutsch)

In the frame of the present project we want to design and build a modular laboratory prototype of a high power fundamental mode fiber amplifier for picosecond pulses which can be industrialized, is competitive in costs is stable and flexible enough to be optimized to the industrial applications. The system shall have the following features: ¿ps pulse generation on the basis of diode technology ¿dedicated large core Yb3+ doped fundamental mode fiber with high pump efficiency ¿distributed high power side pumping with high power diode pump modules ¿average power up to 50W and pulselength shorter 200ps
