The main object of the project is to find out in what way business actors can contribute positively to mediation processes of violent conflict and how mediators can make use of it.
THe project aims at a better understanding of the different forms of how business actors can contribute to mediation processes as well as the limitations of harnessing business actors in mediation process. Some central questions to be answered are which roles business actors can assume in mediation processes and under what circumstances, as well as the motives and practical limitations for corporate contributions to mediation.
