Short description (German)	For the charge of electric vehicle batteries an unidirectional charger with 230VAC and a maximum current of 16A (ca. 3 kW) is the standard in central Europe. Thus a large number of EV e.g. 1 million represent a large power of 3 GW for this example. For the use of this power for grid stability and regulation the charger must allow a bi-directional power flow. The objective of this project is the development, qualification and operation of such a bidirectional charger which is designed according to automotive standard.
