Thus a large number of EV e.g. 1 million represent a large power of 3 GW for this example. For the use of this power for grid stability and regulation the charger must allow a bi-directional power flow. The objective of this project is the development, qualification and operation of such a bidirectional charger which is designed according to automotive standard.
