A wireless communication node will be developed for fast deployment of a broadband communication infrastructure for transmission of image / video information in case of disasters in complex buildings. The technical challenge is to make the system robust regarding the unpredictability of wireless links in such buildings. Therefore the focus will be on link reliability and deployment intelligence for the nodes in order to optimally guide the intervention forces in their installation. This product complements Ascom¿s outdoor crisis management system.
