The aim of this project is to produce organic semiconductors and dielectrics which can compete with amorphous-silicon technologically (TFT array performance) and commercially (volumes, cost). The project benefits from world class partners in the EU that will develop e-reader displays with these materials, characterize and benchmark their performance against consumer requirements. The project will result in a further establishment of R&D-based Swiss chemical and printed electronic industries in the global organic electronic landscape.
