Abstract (Englisch)	The project aims to develop scatter correction methods for micro-computed tomography (CT) applications. For this purpose, Monte Carlo simulations will be used to simulate the radiation transport through the main components of different micro-CT devices of Scanco Medical AG (XtremeCT and Micro-CT). The resulting knowledge will be used to model the scatter radiation and to develop strategies for corresponding correction methods. It is expected that with this project significant improvements of the quantitative measurements can be realized.
