The purpose of the visible patient project is to create a virtual and personalized 3D avatar of a patient that can be used to access medical images and other electronic medical documents (e.g. clinical notes). Such representation is built from a standard model that is transformed based on the patient's medical images. The patients and clinicians can then have a better and faster access to images and medical documents by interacting with a virtual model that looks like the patient's anatomy.
