In the MATERA+ project AMUSED (Advanced multi-scale stress based NDE) a technology demonstrator will be developed incorporating an integrated strain/thermal measurement system as well as a loading device. The Swiss partners focus on damage assessment by laser based techniques (Digital Speckle Pattern Interferometry), development of a simulation tool for damage propagation in laminated fibrereinforced structures, integration of experimental data with simulation data, and application of the MATERA+ prototype on safety-relevant primary structures and tension members.
