The objective of this feasibility study is to develop the functional model of an automated 24-channel feeder for µ-24 Bioreactors and to prove that it can be developed during a follow-up project into a marketable product. The autoclavable feeder integrates a micro valve dosing unit and enables to run the µ-24 Bioreactor also as an automated fed batch based on time, pH or dO. The realized functional model is thoroughly tested in several field tests and validated for reliability and biotech compatibility.
