The objective of the project lies in the development of a tunable narrow linewidth single-frequency laser together with a unique, low-cost, tunable high-finesse optical reference cavity, enabling the realization of a compact, turn-key, single-frequency laser system exhibiting ultra-narrow linewidth operation, tunable across the entire wavelength range between 1535 nm - 1565 nm.
