Abstract (Englisch)	Nowadays, there is no workable formula to guide implant selection in breast augmentation, besides the experience of the surgeon. There are many numbers of different implants which may be equally used, and even more that could be acceptable. Therefore, there is a need for a system that provides guidance in making choices for individual patients. Patient satisfaction will depend mainly on the right choice. Several studies show that around 29% of the patients are not satisfied with the size/shape of the operated breasts. A simulator for cosmetic surgery will be developed, which will provide a visualization of the result of an operation before making it. This system will not be based solely on photographic imagery, in addition it will comprise the physical properties of tissues and materials.
