Developing a Web-based platform for health promotion and self-management of disease

Abstract (German)

The project will develop an interactive web-based platform that assists patients to self-manage work-related disorders and alcoholism through on-line assessment, disease-specific information, personalised monitoring and feedback. The project will provide a proof of concept for an innovative approach to making data accessible through semantic technology. Besides, the project will open up new economic opportunities, help reach new target groups and improve the overall positioning of the business partners in a growing, but competitive market.
