Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
The Feeding Module for Microfactory (FMM) funded by CTI was an important step to realize the microManufacturing concept (Swiss Technology Award 2007). In this new project a flipping technology using 3D vibration effects and micro-flipping grippers will be developed to feed parts in the desired assembly pose and to eliminate the additional station needed to orient micro-parts. This makes automation for micro-parts flexible and economic. Robotics with vibration is an unknown domain in university and will be developed under this project.
