LEMOPTIX SA (ex-Scanlight Imaging) is developing a miniature laser micro-video-projector module for integration into industrial display systems and mobile devices. A MEMS micro-mirror-based projector prototype has been demonstrated, yet several challenges related to the individual sub-systems and the micro-projector system as a whole need to be solved. The aim of this project is to support the development work from the actual prototype phase, through productization and industrialization to full commercialization and validation of the monochrome micro-projector product in industrial applications.
