Abstract
(English)
The aim of the Feasibility Study is to select a concept for an advanced optical sensor for the monitoring of transcutaneous carbon dioxide partial pressure. Measurement principles based on combinations of recently available long-wavelength optical sources and of advances in measurement techniques shall be analyzed. The definition of a sensor concept, which is both technically sound and viable from a commercial point of view, will follow, in the perspective of a subsequent CTI development project.
