Die Wohnbausubstanz in Japan ist äusserst schlecht, energetisch wie auch baubiologisch. Diese Marktlücke macht sich die SBC mit einer interessanten Businessidee zu Nutze. Sie bietet eine neuartige dampfdiffusionsoffene Gebäudehülle an, die Formaldehyd frei ist, ein besseres Wohnklima erzeugt und wesentlich stabiler ist, weder die bestehenden Systeme. Um die Marktchancen und Seriosität gegenüber neuen japanischen Partnern zu verbessern, möchten die zwei Firmen SBC und Pavatex mit der ETH und der EMPA ein Forschungsprojekt durchführen.
