Today, social networking sites such as Facebook have an uncontested success. However, the user profiles are represented with static, shallow 2D web pages. Mingle Makers offer the users a new way to visualize their network in a dedicated virtual world. Also, we propose to keep the user profiles alive at all times by populating the virtual world with autonomous avatars. Each avatar is always present in the virtual world to impersonate the user¿s profile and perform networking missions for him.
