Im Bereich Airline- und Railcatering sind weltweit zahlreiche KMUs tätig. Für diese gibt es bis heute keine adäquate Softwareunterstützung für die Ressourcenplanung. Diese Marktlücke soll mit dem vorliegenden Pegasus-Projekt besetzt werden. Das Projektziel ist die Entwicklung eines Software-Gesamtsystems für die Ressourcenplanung, welches speziell auf die Bedürfnisse von KMU¿s der Airline- und Railcateringindustrie ausgerichtet ist.
