Abstract (Englisch)

The ACET project aims to automate the creation of personalized handwritten fonts and proposes to investigate new solutions for texture-based font rendering. The challenge is to shift from a time-consuming manual design process to a high-quality automated service based on existing statistical models for handwriting recognition and new texture synthesis approaches. This new solution will allow the deployment of a fast, intuitive, online text rendering service.
