An verschiedenen Standorten werden feuerbrand- und schorftolerante Sorten bzw. Neuselektionen von Apfel und Birne sowie Wurzelunterlagen werden auf ihre Anbaueignung in 100% bio-Bedingungen geprüft. Von den meistversprechenden Sorten wird auch das Lagerungspotenzial eruiert. Die Feuerbrand- und Lagertestung sowie die Vermehrung der Prüfbäume erfolgt in Zusammenarbeit mit ACW und Fruture.

At different sites fire blight tolerant cultivars or newly bred selections of appel, pear and rootstocks are getting tested for their production potential under 100% organic growing conditions. From the most promising selections also the storage potential is evaluated. The testing of fire blight tolerance, storage potential and the multiplication of the testing trees is done in co-operation with ACW and Fruture.

Versuche sind gepflanzt, die agronomische Erhebungen wurden und werden durchgeführt. Neue Testsorten wurden eruiert und bestellt, wo möglich wurde bereits deren Feuerbrandtoleranz mit Inkubationsversuchen im Gewächshaus getestet.

The trials are planted, the agronomical assessments were carried out, new cultivars are ordered and, where possible, were tested indoors for fire blight tolerance by incubation.
